About Scrap Yard Internationals

The Scrap Yard Internationals experience is team focused. The 16U and 18U squads travel as a team on private buses and vans, and by air as needed. At home, all teams practice at the Scrap Yard Sports Complex in a safe and secure environment that includes 14 batting cages and 10 all-turf ballfields. This includes the Scrap Yard Stadium, home to the professional softball team, Scrap Yard Fast Pitch. In August of 2018, SI took their 18U an 16U squads to Tokyo, Japan for a week-long once-in-a-lifetime experience. The athletes played Tokyo Women’s College of Physical Education in a total of four games, experienced Japanese culture, and watched Team USA compete at World Championships in Chiba, Japan.
